SCHOLARSHIPS

2018 DWC Scholarship Recipients Have Been Announced!

The two Community Service Scholarship recipients are Sydney Tucker, Hinsdale South High School and Natalie Repole, Downers South High School. DWC members are pleased to present two $1500 awards.

The two Fine Arts Scholarship winners are Mason White and Henry Sullivan, both from Cass Junior High School. Each award is valued at $350.

Congratulations to all our scholarship recipients. We wish them success in all their future endeavors.

 



COMMUNITY SERVICE SCHOLARSHIPS 

The Darien Woman's Club $1,500 Community Service Scholarship is awarded annually to two (2) high school seniors from the Darien area (do not have to live in Darien) that have contributed considerable time in the area of community service and plan to attend college in the Fall of 2018.

High school social or athletic involvement is not considered volunteer work for the purpose of this scholarship. The focus of your volunteer work should show integrity, leadership, responsibility and commitment to community service. 

2019 Scholarship Applications will be available in January/February of 2019.

 



FINE ART SCHOLARSHIPS

The purpose of this Darien Woman's Club $350 Fine Art Scholarship is to encourage young studentsí participation in the fine arts and to give them the opportunity to attend a camp or classes in their area of interest.  Applications may be submitted by any student in the Darien area entering 7th through 12th grade. 

Two (2) $350 scholarships are awarded and must be used during the Summer of 2018. The scholarship award will be made payable to the camp or school.

2019 Scholarship Applications will be available in January/February of 2019.

 


 

CLUBWOMAN CONTINUING EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP

The scholarship is available for current, active DWC Members.  The purpose of the scholarship is to aid in the DWC Member's educational or career goals.
